At the midpoint of the season, there are a growing number of teams on a bye and an even larger number of top fantasy players riding the pine with injury.
Amidst the terror, Chargers' running back Austin Ekeler has been a powerhouse since Week 1 and has only gotten better: Ekeler has scored at least one rushing touchdown in five straight games, one receiving score in four of the last five, and has 29 receptions for 167 yards in the last three games with a diminished passing offense.
Los Angeles' passing offense has an SIC score of 78.7 but the 49ers have SIC scores of 66.4 and 68.9 in rush and pass defense, respectively.
In his first game with the Dolphins, Wilson had 9 rushes for 51 yards plus three catches for 21 yards and a touchdown. He's facing a Browns defense that will be down two key starting linebackers along with Jacob Phillips, who was filling in well for Anthony Walker.
In games he has more than 10 touches, he has averaged 12.2 fantasy points in half-point PPR. Raheem Mostert has been the starting running back in Miami for a majority of the season, but was less effective in the same number of touches.
Cleveland has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
