The Dallas Cowboys have raced out to the second-best record in the NFC East, and an enormous factor in that is the team's defense and running game.
Linebacker Anthony Barr injured his hamstring in the Cowboys’ last game versus the Chicago Bears. He’s been ruled out for the team's game against the Packers. Rookie linebacker Damone Clark has taken over the snaps for Barr.
Ezekiel Elliott was a limited participant in practice this week and is expected to play. Elliott appeared to suffer a bone bruise in week 7. But, he has had three weeks to recover from the injury. Elliott’s backup Tony Pollard could also help lessen the load.
Wide receiver Noah Brown has been battling a foot injury for the last month and is expected to play this week. His snaps have dropped since the return of Michael Gallup.
Three Green Bay Packers left the team's game last week in a boot.
Aaron Jones is listed as questionable after leaving last week's game with an ankle injury. The team originally feared the injury was severe but it was later found out to be only a mild sprain.
Cornerback Eric Stokes has not practiced this week and is expected to miss this week's game after having his leg rolled up on by an offensive lineman.
Wide receiver Romeo Doubs has been one of Rodger's favorite targets since Randall Cobb went down. Doubs is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
David Bakhtiari returned in week three after being out of the 2021 season. He has a 65 SIC score and has three games with under 40 snaps this season. The Packers have been seemingly rotating Bakhtiari every other game.
The Dallas Cowboys are favored by 4.5 points on the road to the Green Bay Packers and the over/under is 43.0, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
