2023 NBA Finals: SIC Staff Goes 3-0 in Props for Game 2

As the series heads to Game 2, elevation may play a significant role in the game.

The Heat play near sea level at home, but have now been in the mile-high city since Tuesday.

Altitude sickness takes more effect the longer an athlete stays at high altitude, thus some of the Miami players may look more sluggish than in Game 1.

Dating back to 2017, the Nuggets are 6-2 overall and 4-2 against the spread.

Here are three injury-based player props to play through Sleeper Picks for Game 2.

Over the past three playoff games, our staff is 7-1 on player props.

First-time depositors can get up to $100 matched by using this link for by using promo code “SIC.”

Sleeper DFS picks contests are legal in the following 25 states: AK, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MN, NE, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, VT, WI and WY. Sleeper DFS picks contests are also available in Washington DC.

Gabe Vincent O13.5 Points (23 points)

The undrafted guard appears fully healthy after his May 23 left ankle sprain and has been efficient in the past few games.

Vincent scored 19 points in Game 1 on 7-14 from the field and 5-10 from 3.

In the playoffs this year, Vincent is averaging 13.4 points on 41.5% shooting and 40% from 3-point range.

Michael Porter Jr. U2.5 Threes Made (1 made 3)

Finally healthy from his back injuries, Porter has played the best basketball of his career.

However, he has not shot the ball well lately and has been more focused on the defensive end.

He was 2 for 11 from 3 in Game 1 and shot 30% in Game 4 against the Lakers.

Porter has hit 3 or more threes in 8 of the 16 playoff games thus far and may have more tired legs in this second game at elevation.

Jamal Murray O5.5 Assists (10 assists)

Murray hit his points total in Game 1 and has played at an elite level now that he’s 100% healthy from his April 2021 ACL tear.

Nikola Jokic had 14 assists in Game 1, yet Murray still hit his assists total with 6.

More focus may be on Murray after his stellar shooting performance in the opening game of the series.

Murray has had 6 or more assists in 8 of the 16 playoff games, but has hit that total in 2 of the last 6 contests.

The Heat rank seventh in assists allowed this postseason.
