The under 4.5 win prediction for the Arizona Cardinals is heavily influenced by Kyler Murray's health. Murray, their star dual-threat quarterback, is on the PUP list, casting doubt over his availability for the majority of the 2023 season. If the Cardinals have a rocky start, there's a slight chance he might sit out the entire season.
Adding to their woes is the condition of receiving threat Zach Ertz. Although on track to play Week 1, Ertz is still recovering from ACL and MCL tears. The team's defensive side doesn't offer much optimism either. With significant losses like J.J. Watt and Byron Murphy Jr., the younger replacements haven't notably improved the defense.
The expectation for the season is less optimistic with Colt McCoy leading and Marquise Brown, who has been experiencing foot discomfort, as the main target.
The Tennessee Titans seem poised for a challenging 2023 season. The team's aging roster, especially in critical positions like QB, RB, and WR, is concerning. Derrick Henry is third among active players in carries.
As he approaches 30, a drop in his performance is anticipated. Their offensive line's condition exacerbates the worries, especially with frequently injured players like Andre Dillard replacing the also injury-prone LT Taylor Lewan. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill, at 35, faces an uncertain future in Nashville, and young talents like Malik Willis and Will Levis might be the needed change.
Although DeAndre Hopkins was added to bolster the wide receiver room, his own recovery from injury makes his efficacy questionable. The offense's woes might lead to a heavy reliance on Treylon Burks. Despite the defensive side showing promise with better health compared to their 2022 season, the struggling offense will likely cause the team's win total to be under 7.5.
Baltimore Ravens fans have reasons to be optimistic for the 2023 season. With star quarterback Lamar Jackson fully fit and Odell Beckham Jr. joining the squad, the team's offense looks potent. Rashod Bateman, despite a foot injury, is expected to have a significant role once he returns.
All attention is on J.K. Dobbins, who, two years post his knee injury, looks set to be the primary back this season. Accompanying him is Gus Edwards, also two years after an ACL tear, and expected to contribute significantly. The left tackle, after recovering from a severe ankle injury, is fit to guard the blindside, crucial for the team's offensive efforts.
Defensively, after a poor 2022 season where they were plagued by injuries, they look better equipped for 2023. However, Marlon Humphrey is a big loss to the defense early on.
Edge rushers Tyus Bowser and David Ojabo, though recovering from their respective injuries, are expected to play pivotal roles. With improved health and a bolstered roster, the Ravens are poised to challenge the Bengals for the division title, making over 10.5 wins a promising prospect.
