Throughout the season, we'll recommend injury-based prop plays through our premium service: SIC picks. Our team went 11-6 on overall futures bets and 58.3% on player prop futures.

This season, our team has a crop of recommendations through Underdog, where first time users can receive a deposit match of up to $100 with promo code “SIC” or by clicking this link.
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts began his NFL career with over 1,000 receiving yards, the second-highest total ever for a rookie tight end. However, last season, his usage dwindled as he became part of a new run-heavy scheme.
To compound matters, the former first-round tight end only managed 356 yards in 10 games due to a season-ending multi-ligament knee injury sustained in Week 11. His SIC score stands at 57, as his return to full health for the upcoming season appears unlikely.
Although his injury was initially reported as an MCL sprain, such injuries seldom necessitate surgery. That led our panel of doctors to conclude that he had additional damage to the ligaments in his right knee. Based on the video of the hit, it’s not impossible that he’s placed on the PUP list to start the season. Pitts has too much to overcome to hit his over.
The New York Giants stand out as one of the few teams lacking a definitive No. 1 wide receiver. With Sterling Shepard and Wan'dale Robinson not expected to be healthy early in the season, there is an opportunity for Isaiah Hodgins to step up.
During his eight games with the Giants, Hodgins accumulated 351 yards and four touchdowns. If he were to play a full 17-game season with the G-men, his production would likely surpass those numbers.
Hodgins was acquired by the Giants in a trade with the Buffalo Bills and quickly established a rapport with quarterback Daniel Jones. Hodgins received 44 targets in just eight contests and excelled in the playoffs, amassing 108 yards and one touchdown in two games.
His strong connection with Jones and familiarity with the offensive system bodes well for his chances of surpassing his receiving prop.
Marquise Brown sought a change from Baltimore to join a high-octane passing offense, but his season with the Cardinals didn't unfold as planned. He missed five games last year due to an avulsion fracture in his left foot, and upon his return, he didn't appear to be operating at full speed.
Also, Brown previously endured a Lisfranc injury in the same foot during his time with the Ravens, which has raised concerns among Pro Football Docs about his current state of health as he enters the upcoming season.
Brown experienced career lows in various statistical categories, including targets (107), yards (709), touchdowns (3), and yards per catch (10.6). Another crucial factor to consider is the identity of the quarterback who will be delivering passes to him this season.
The Pro Football Docs do not anticipate Kyler Murray being fully prepared and effective until roughly midway through the season. It is more likely that Clayton Tune or Josh Dobbs will be tasked with throwing passes to him, and this scenario does not augur well for Brown's prospects of meeting his receptions prop.
