49ers Linebackers Dre Greenlaw, Fred Warner Likely To Miss Seahawks Game

The 49ers won their third straight game Sunday against the Vikings, but lost two key linebackers to injuries. Dre Greenlaw and Fred Warner did not practice Wednesday and we expect both to miss this Sunday's game against Seattle.

Greenlaw, playing in his first game since core muscle surgery, appeared to reaggravate a groin injury that had kept him on IR since Week 1. He did not finish the game and we expect the team to be cautiuos easing him back into action. Marcell Harris will take his spot at weakside linebacker.

Warner, the all-pro middle linebacker, suffered a hamstring strain Week 12 and did not return to the game. With how much Warner is used in the defense, his hamstring will need to be fully healed for him to be effective. He has played every game this season, collecting a team-leading 92 tackles. Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles will take Warner's place against the Seahawks.
