Injury Advantage: Packers Offense
San Francisco star edge rusher Nick Bosa will pass concussion protocol and the 49ers main chance at disrupting MVP-favorite Aaron Rodgers.
However, Rodgers may also have three key starting offensive line together for the first time all season. Left tackle David Bakhtiari played for the first time this season Week 18 and has a good chance to play this week. Right tackle Billy Turner is back practicing in full after his Week 14 MCL sprain.
Center Josh Myers also missed a big chunk of the season with a left knee injury, but returned Week 18 and is poised to start this Saturday.
On Thursday, Green Bay activated wide receiver Randall Cobb, who has been out after undergoing core muscle surgery after Week 12. He will likely see increased targets with wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling doubtful to play with a back injury.
San Francisco could also struggle to stop running back tandem Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon.
Jones has battled a knee injury since Week 10, but he shouldn’t be bothered by it Saturday.
The 49ers, meanwhile, have all three starting linebackers dealing with injuries.
Azeez Al-Shaair will play through a knee sprain for a second straight week, while Fred Warner will play through a right ankle injury he suffered last week.
Weakside linebacker Dre Greenlaw played just three regular season games because of a persistent groin strain, but had five tackles in the win over the Cowboys last week.
