Aaron Jones Could Play Week 9, Will Not Be 100% And Possibility Of Reaggravation Remains

Aaron Jones appears ready to play for the Green Bay Packers, but it’s likely a reduced role as he’s still not 100% and there is no way to eliminate the possibility of reaggravation. Jones will test out the calf pre-game before the official word is out. We will closely monitor Inactives and video if there is any. He’s missed the last two games with a calf injury and usually the Packers are very conservative with their player’s health, but they do not have much choice tonight. Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon are both out, leaving Jones as the only runner out of the backfield. Look for head coach Matt LaFleur to get creative tonight and for Aaron Rodgers to air it out if necessary.
