Aaron Jones Has Mild MCL Sprain, Will Avoid IR Stint

Packers star running back Aaron Jones reportedly suffered a "mild" MCL sprain in his right knee late in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Seahawks. Jones will definitely miss the upcoming matchup against the Vikings, but has a slight chance to play against the Rams in Week 12. The Packers get a bye in Week 13 and might give Jones a full three weeks of rest before a divisional matchup with the Bears in Week 14. Jones suffered a right knee MCL sprain in 2019 and missed two games. Backup running back A.J. Dillon is a capable replacement and will get a majority of the touches in Jones' absence. Patrick Taylor is also available out of the backfield.
