Murray was injured in the Vipers opener. He appears to have a left foot injury and has not practiced yet this week. Given the startup nature of this league and the vital importance of practice, he is unlikely to play this week against the Dragons. Even though Murray is injured, his team will continue to run a platoon system at quarterback with Taylor Cornelius the likely new starter. A left foot injury would affect not only his mobility but his throwing as being unable to step into throws would cause accuracy issues. This would cause him to be error-probe with a tendency to throw high. After piecing all this together, I would expect Aaron Murray to be out this weekend. Murray has officially been ruled out.
