Its starting to look like Green will not make his week 10 come back after all. According to his injury timeline it's been over three months since his high ankle sprain and subsequent ankle scope. The Bengals did not put him on injured reserve but in hindsight should have. The expectation was that Green would play post bye week this Sunday but that is starting to look dubious. He reported some swelling in his ankle after he returned to practice and had limited in practice ever since. When asked directly if he would play this weekend he indicated "probably not". He also said "I cant go out there when I'm not 100 percent. It makes no sense for me to put myself in that situation to where I can have another time hurting (it), just like I did my toe. It's all about making sure I'm taking care of myself first. Everything else comes after that." Of course there is no urgency from the team given their 0-8 record.
