Veteran defensive tackle Akiem Hicks left the game in the second quarter with a left foot injury and has been deemed questionable to return.
By video, Hicks appeared to suffer the injury on a pass rush with just over four minutes remaining in the second quarter.
Hicks attempted to cut right on a stunt, then hopped and favored his right foot.
The severity of his injury was not immediately clear by video.
The 32-year-old former Bear had 3 combined tackles before leaving.
Tampa Bay's injury woes continued in the first half with backup left tackle leaving with a calf injury.
The Pro Football Docs do not expect Wells to return to the game. He was filling in at left tackle for Donovan Smith, who suffered a hyperextended elbow last week against the Cowboys.
Recent signee Fred Johnson will likely fill in at left tackle.
