Alex Caruso Suffers Facial Injury, Possible Concussion, in Game 4

Bulls shooting guard Alex Caruso left Game 4 in the second quarter after taking an inadvertent hit to the face from Jevon Carter's hand.

Caruso was ruled out for the game with a facial injury and is reportedly undergoing a concussion evaluation.

The 28-year-old was scoreless in 17 minutes, but had 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks.

Rookie Ayo Dosunmu entered the game for Caruso. He and Coby White will likely play bigger roles with the former Laker out.

Update

After the game, head coach Billy Donovan said Caruso suffered a nose bleed and was still undergoing testing for a concussion. By video, the Pro Basketball Docs doubt Caruso has a concussion, but precaution is always the right move for head injuries.
