Alex Smith has shown incredible grit in returning to the field, but coming back from a recent calf injury to the same leg he broke may be too tall of an order. With Dwayne Haskins out of the picture, they are hoping he will return and keep their playoff hopes alive but it may fall to Taylor Heinicke to finish out the season.
