Alperen Sengün - SIC score 35
Suffered severe right ankle sprain but luckily avoided ankle fracture - also suffered knee bone bruise on March 10 play while contesting shot in closing minutes against the Kings - will miss at least two weeks and could be done for season depending on where the Rockets are in the standings by late March.
The Rockets' center suffered the severe right leg injury in the closing minutes of Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings.
Sengün went up to contest a layup by Kings' center Domantas Sabonis, he came down with all his weight on the right leg causing the fracture and likely LCL sprain.
With the end of the regular season a month away, the injury to Sengün likely puts the Rockets (29-35) out of playoff contention.
Houston is 5.5 games back from the 10 seed with 18 games remaining. Jock Landale is likely to receive more playing time with Sengün out.
