As the Eagles wide receiver took off at the line of scrimmage he immediately pulled up with an injury. He left the game on a cart and was announced as questionable to return with a foot injury. This leaves the Eagles with only two wide receivers on the active roster. By video, Jeffery appears to rupture his right Achilles tendon. The eccentric load mechanism was classic for an Achilles injury. A foot injury would be much better news so let's hope for that, but if the Achilles tendon rupture is confirmed it would mean the end of the season for Jeffery and surgery.
