Saints All-Pro running back Alvin Kamara will miss practice today after suffering an apparent bone bruise in his foot. The team is saying the injury should not be considered serious and Kamara is on track to play, but whenever a running back has a foot issue it’s some thing to monitor just like we’re seeing with Bengals’ running back Joe Mixon. A Bone bruise is not always something to be pushed through and can be made worse. That is why the 49ers held out George Kittle earlier this year. We will closely monitor the practice reports for the remainder of the week and see if more details leak out as the Saints cannot afford to lose their star running back who is also leading the team in receiving yards.
