Alvin Kamara, the Saints star running back, did not practice Thursday and missed last week's game with a left knee MCL sprain. By video, we thought the MCL sprain was mild and we still believe that. However, Kamara missing practice is a concerning sign regarding his status for Sunday's game against the Eagles. We still think the versatile running back will be active, but his touches will likely be heavily reduced and the team might only use him as a pass catcher. In last week's loss to the Titans, Mark Ingram ran 14 times for 47 yards and a touchdown, plus he caught four passes for 61 yards. Left tackle Terron Armstead and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk both missed practice Thursday for the second consecutive day. Swiss army knife quarterback/tight end Taysom Hill also missed Wednesday and Thursday with a foot issue. Sunday could prove tough for quarterback Trevor Siemian against the Eagles' pass rush.
