Alvin Kamara Suffers Possible Ankle Injury In Week 10 Loss Versus Falcons

Saints running back Alvin Kamara suffered a possible ankle injury in the second half of their 27-25 loss to the Falcons last Sunday. By video, the injury may have occurred when he was tackled on a one-yard rush with 14:18 left in the third quarter but there were no visible setbacks from the injury for the rest of the contest. New Orleans beat writers have mentioned a possible ailment but nothing has been confirmed. We don't know the severity of the injury, but possible overnight swelling could cause Kamara to miss some practice time this week. Despite the injury, the 26-year-old finished the loss with 104 total yards on 17 touches and one rushing touchdown, which came in the fourth quarter. Even though the Saints (5-3) worked out three running backs on Tuesday we didn't see enough to warrant major concern but will monitor as the week progresses.
