Cooper was hit on his left knee and had a spectacular flip. He returned quickly to the game. By video, he was hit just above the knee on the distal thigh and because his foot was not planted, it resulted in the flip and not significant injury. Cooper reported X-rays were negative and the MRI came back clean. It certainly is possible the distal quad contusion could tighten up on him, and remember, Cooper does not have 10 days to rest. The Cowboys play next Thursday, but in any case with good medical care, I would expect him to work through any tightness or swelling and be ready to go.
