Antonio Gibson, the Washington running back is desperately trying to play, but it's been only three weeks removed from the turf toe injury. This injury affects his planting and cutting ability drastically. Yes, he can be taped in a steel plate placed in his shoe but there's no way to completely deaden the pain and restore his full cutting ability. He is trending towards trying to play but would not expect him to be his usual productive, self as Washington tries to secure the NFC East crown.
