Astros star second baseman Jose Altuve was activated off IL Monday and will make his return to the lineup against the Mariners tonight.
The seven-time All-Star will lead off and play second against the 12-10 Mariners with Marco Gonzalez on the mound.
Altuve has not played since suffering a hamstring strain on April 18.
When the injury happened, the Pro Baseball Docs projected that it would be nearly impossible for him to avoid a 10-day IL stint. He was placed on IL two days later.
The 32-year-old did not require a rehab stint before returning from the injury. He is batting .167 with 1 home run in 36 at bats this season.
