Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez is back in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels after missing the previous two contests.
Alvarez ($4,300 on FanDuel) missed two games following a collision with shortstop Jeremy Peña during Wednesday's game against the Mets.
The 24-year-old told reporters he was dizzy in the moments following the collision and suffered a laceration inside his lip. Peña suffered a mouth laceration in the collision.
Both players were required to pass concussion protocol before returning to the lineup.
The shortstop did that in one day, while Alvarez required an extra day of observation.
Both players' quick returns to the lineup fits the in-game assessment from our team of Pro Baseball Docs.
Alvarez, the leading vote-getter for the AL designated hitter spot in the All-Star game, is hitting .316 with 23 home runs and 56 RBIs this season.
