Austin Ekeler, the Chargers fantasy star, missed practice today with a hamstring issue and there is no indication when the hamstring happened. Ekeler did practice during the preseason but was purposely held out of game action. It is unclear as to when this hamstring injury happened, but the injury certainly did not happen today as Ekeler started practice out on the side before being listed as Did Not Practice. He did have a significant hamstring avulsion injury in 2020 that cost him 6 games. There is no indication whether this is an aggravation of the same side or a different side. At this point in time, missing the first practice this week does not bode well towards Week 1. Fantasy players will have to look at other options in case the star RB misses Week 1. We will continue to follow the latest news but the expectation is that that he will not make the call on Sunday.
