Austin Ekeler Off Injury Report Heading Into Week 2, Should Be More Involved In Passing Game

Chargers' running back Austin Ekeler was absent from the team's practice report heading into a Week 2 matchup with the Cowboys. That suggests his hamstring  should be near to full health and we expect him to be utilized more as a threat in the passing game. The 26-year-old was held without a catch in Week 1, but had 15 carries for 57 yards and a TD against the Washington Football Team. His value in fantasy is as a three down, pass-catching back and he should fill that role fully this week. The Chargers face Kansas City in Week 3 and Las Vegas in Week 4, thus we think the team would be more cautious with Ekeler if they didn't think he was fully healthy.
