Baltimore Left Guard Ben Cleveland Leaves With Left Leg Injury, Doubtful To Return

Ben Cleveland, the Ravens second-string left guard, was carted off late in the second quarter after suffering a left leg injury. By video, Cleveland was blocking when he had his left leg rolled up on. Although only one angle was available, it appeared the rookie left guard was able to get his left foot out in time to avoid serious injury. However, we still have significant worry for an MCL sprain with a possible high ankle sprain. Cleveland has been deemed doubtful to return with a knee injury. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins appeared to suffer a hamstring injury on the play and is questionable to return. First-string left guard Tyre Phillips is on IR with a knee injury so third-stringer Ben Powers will fill in. Baltimore's offensive line depth is already thin and veteran tackle Alejandro Villanueva is playing through a knee injury to fill in for Ronnie Stanley at left tackle.

Update

Cleveland was ruled out for the game.
