Eddie Jackson, the Bears starting free safety, injured his right hamstring on the second play of the game against the 49ers. By video, Jackson was covering Brandon Aiyuk on a deep route when he pulled up and grabbed his right hamstring. Hamstring injuries are difficult to judge by video, but we don't expect him to return today. The Bears now have injuries at every level of their defense, with Akiem Hicks nursing a groin injury and Khalil Mack out with a foot injury.
Update
Jackson has been deemed doubtful to return, hence Marqui Christian will continue filling in.
