Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethelisberger was added to the COVID-19 list and is out for Sunday’s game vs the Lions.
Mason Rudolph, who went 5-3 in eight starts games for Pittsburgh in Roethelisberger’s absence in 2019, will start the contest. Roethelisberger, who is fully vaccinated, is the first Steelers player to be put on the COVID-19 list this season and could very well miss Week 11 as well.
A year ago, Roethlisberger landed on the list as a close contact of tight end Vance McDonald, who tested positive, but the quarterback didn't miss a game.
