Trey Hendrickson, the Bengals key pass rusher, practiced fully on Wednesday and is on his way to clearing concussion protocol ahead of the Titans matchup this Saturday.
Hendrickson suffered a concussion in the win over the Raiders last Saturday and was limited in practice Tuesday.
The final hurdle for him to play is to get clearance from an independent neurologist. No two concussions are the same, but the fact that Hendrickson is symptom-free and taking all of the practice reps is a great sign for him to play.
Having the 27-year-old back would be a huge boost for a Cincinnati team that lost fellow defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi for the rest of the playoffs with a foot injury.
Hendrickson led the team with 14 sacks in the regular season, a half-sack better than his total last season with the Saints.
The Bengals are 3.5-point underdogs on the road against Tennessee, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
