The new Texan wideout begins his stint by showing up on the very first injury report of the season. Coming into the year, the concussions were his biggest health worry but now he's dealing with a quadriceps muscle issue. Muscle issues are part of the acclimation injuries that can happen with a limited offseason program and quick ramp up to football. The quad injury could make it hard for Cooks to accelerate off the line but also to decelerate breaking out of a route. There is little additional information but this is definitely something to watch before the first game on Thursday.
