The Dragons quarterback was injured within the final two minutes of the game as Seattle was defeated by the Defenders 31-19. If not for the double digit lead and the time, I believe Silvers could have continued to play. He appeared to suffer a clear right mild inversion ankle sprain. The openness of the XFL with all players mic'd allowed us to hear immediate confirmation of a low inversion ankle sprain from the player as head coach Jim Zorn asked for an update. This unique perspective confirms our video analysis. Silvers is a lock to play next week and will likely not miss any practice time. Silvers has officially practiced in full and should be effective on Saturday.
