Braves Injury Report: Ronald Acuña Jr. Starting For First Time Since Experiencing Quad Tightness

Ronald Acuña Jr. is back in the lineup today for the first time since Tuesday, when he reportedly experienced right quad tightness.

Ronald Acuña Jr. Injury Report

The Braves superstar outfielder pinch hit in Friday's game, knocking an RBI-double in his only plate appearance.

Acuña was scratched from Wednesday's lineup amid wet conditions after he told the Braves he was feeling right quad tightness before the game.

The 24-year-old still working his way back from a torn right knee ACL last July and he'll serve as the designated hitter for today's contest.

Despite playing just 18 games this season, Acuña leads the Braves with 8 stolen bases. That's nearly half of his 2021 total, when he swiped 17 bags in 82 games.

Braves top prospect Michael Harris II will start in center field, with Adam Duvall in right field and Marcell Ozuna in left.
