Jarvis Landry, the Browns No. 2 wide receiver, missed practice Wednesday with a left knee injury he suffered last Thursday against the Broncos. By video, this injury is unrelated to the left knee MCL sprain that caused him to miss four games prior to Week 7.
With about three and a half minutes left in the game against the Broncos, Landry makes a catch and falls on a flexed left knee. By video, the injury appears to be a left knee contusion, which is not a ligament tear or PCL strain, like Jets quarterback Zach Wilson suffered on Sunday. It was more of a direct contusion. At this point, we have cautious optimism that Jarvis Landry can play this Halloween versus the Steelers. The 10 days will also help fellow pass catcher Odell Beckham Jr. Improve on his grade three right shoulder AC joint sprain.
