Bryce Callahan has re-injured the same foot that sidelined him for the entire 2019 season, and will miss time. It is unclear how severe but this does not bode well going forward. He had been covering outside in 3-4 looks, and the slot in nickel packages. Devante Bausby and Michael Ojemudia will compete for the outside job, and Wake Forest UDFA Essang Bassey has handled some snaps at slot this year.
