Vita Vea, the Buccaneers defensive crux, suffered an apparent knee injury and was carted to the locker room. By video, he was in a mass of humanity on a goal-line rush from Antonio Gibson. We couldn't see what happened and are unsure of his exact ailment. He had a right ankle fracture/dislocation last season, but this potential injury was to the left side. We await word on Vea's injury from head coach Bruce Arians after the game.
Update
Vea reportedly injured his knee, but Arians did not have any further update. We did not see any definitive angles, but Vea possibly has an MCL sprain given how the pile fell. His status for next week is uncertain until we learn more about the injury.
