Bud Dupree Likely Suffers Torn ACL Against Ravens

With 5:31 left in the fourth quarter on an outside rush, Bud Dupree was pushed off balance and lands awkwardly on his right side, suffering an injury in a non-contact fashion. Although there is no second angle which we usually like to see before a solid confirmation, based on the mechanism of injury there's significant fear for a right knee ACL tear. Dupree did not return to the game and went into the locker room, despite a questionable to return tag. We cannot be 100% certain based on one angle of video, but we have a very strong suspicion for a right knee ACL tear, which would mean the end of his season. This would be the second top linebacker for the Steelers to tear their ACL this season after Devin Bush did so earlier in the year. This will end up being a costly game for the Steelers. The team is likely to wait for an MRI but we fear there will be confirmation of a right knee ACL tear coming soon.
