Devin Singletary - RB
Singletary missed three of the Buffalo Bills’ first five games last season with a hamstring injury. He earned 775 yards on 51 carries in his rookie campaign, which is good for five yards a pop. The Florida Atlantic product does not seem to have a pattern of muscle injuries, thus We anticipate a healthy sophomore season. The lack of an offseason program in any sport will be concerning in terms of soft muscle injuries, especially early on but Singletary has shown no signs of any issues looking great in camp early on.
Zack Moss - RB
Like many players coming out of college, Zack Moss' injury history is not clear. During the offseason, we had him as a first round talent that could drop to the third round due to undisclosed knee issues and indeed the Bills selected him in round three. When healthy, his talent is clear. He rushed for 1,416 yards and 15 touchdowns in his senior year at Utah, his third straight season of over 1,000 yards rushing and at least 10 rushing touchdowns. In his junior season, an unspecified, significant knee injury he suffered during practice led to surgery and an end to his season in early November. He had several other injury issues in college and opted out of the senior bowl with an undisclosed injury. However, he did participate at the draft combine and performed well. With little to go on, we just have to wait and see. My tendency is to think Moss can have early career success, but will not duplicate the longevity of Frank Gore.
Tyler Kroft - TE
Tyler Kroft has had a disappointing couple years but don't forget about him just yet. Prior to his Bills debut in 2019, he re-broke his foot and had revision Jones fracture surgery in the offseason and started on the PUP list. Kroft lost his job to Dawson Knox and vastly underperformed when called upon but with the foot issues behind him could have a comeback season at just 27 years old. It would be a huge boon to Josh Allen as he develops if he could rely on a 2017 version of Kroft, who caught 32 receptions for 404 yards and seven touchdowns.
