Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley injured his left foot on a red zone catch. He had previous ankle issue, and this was called the same but by video he just escaped a significant Lisfranc injury as the defender fell on the back of his heel. However it didn't stick too severely, and the slick field may have helped make this more of a mild midfoot sprain. However, the field conditions might make a return more difficult as stability is a concern. He exited to the locker room and the hope is that he can return with tape and support but it remains to be seen. By the way he walked off, we doubt he will return tonight.
