By video, worry for left Achilles tendon rupture on a screen pass late in the third quarter - carted to locker room and will undergo MRI on Monday - ruled out with ankle injury but that's common with Achilles - previous Achilles tear was on right side in July 2021 - difficult to come back and be effective for a RB after two Achilles tears in his career.

Kirk Cousins and Aaron Rodgers were also ruled out with ankle designations in-game before their Achilles tears were revealed.

If confirmed, Akers will become a recent example of players who have suffered an Achilles tear on each side. Terrell Suggs and Michael Crabtree are two notable examples.

Akers had 8 rushes for 25 yards plus 3 catches for 13 yards.
