The Panthers have a pending decision to make regarding their starting quarterback but the Week 9 decision has been made. Kyle Allen will start again though it is my clear impression that Newton is ready to practice and play, as he is at least in 90th percentile in terms of health. That being said, he is capable of playing on gameday right now. It was an easy decision to wait for him get to 100% with Kyle Allen being undefeated and yet to turn the ball over. However, after a beatdown at the hands of the 49ers and three interceptions the vision becomes murky and will depend on Allen's Week 9 performance. Will the Panthers take a 95% or so Newton, round it up to a 100% and start him the following week? Or will they stick to their intentions of waiting for Newton to truly be at 100% before playing? This week makes for a interesting decision for Carolina before their game against the Titans.
