My belief is that Cam Newton is healthy enough to play, but with Kyle Allen undefeated the team can afford to wait till hes 100% before returning. This is why Newton remains out for the Panthers. Of course, it's really Christian McCaffrey's team at this point as the Stanford product is in the middle of MVP-like season. For the 49ers, the injury weakness is still at tackle as both are out along with their fullback. With their fullback healthy, the 49ers were averaging 200 yards rushing per game and since they have averaged only 118 yards in the two games after his injury.
