Carson Wentz Injury: Commanders QB Out At Least a Month After Finger Surgery

Carson Wentz is expected to have surgery on his right ring finger following Thursday's matchup against the Bears.

He was able to finish the game last week with the injury but will now watch as Taylor Heinicke
takes over the Commanders offense for the near future.

Wentz is yet another quarterback replaced by injury this season, Dr. David Chao details the other current QB injury situations below.

This injury to his right ring finger could potentially be a huge problem for his throwing ability but doctors will not know for sure until after the surgery is done.

Expect Wentz to be out 4-6 weeks with this finger fracture and surgery.
