Wentz may have jammed his thumb on the play where Miles Sanders fumbled the handoff. The quarterback was trying to bring down a defensive lineman and his thumb appeared to get caught on the play. Some wobbly passes due to poor grip ensued after the injury, but this is not similar to Drew Brees' thumb injury. I do not expect it to be major or there to be a ligament tear. Wentz went to the medical tent and locker room, but did not miss any game time, nor should he going forward.
