The Eagles quarterback was taken to the locker room for a head injury evaluation. By video, he was hit in the back of the head and then his head hit the turf after scrambling out of the pocket. The double blow might make the head injury worse. One can't judge concussions based on video but the fact that he failed the initial evaluation in the blue tent before going to the locker room is somewhat ominous. The independent neurologist on the sidelines will make the final call but it is likely the Josh McCown show from here on out. Given that Wentz has been in the locker room longer than it takes to complete an exam, one can expect that he is done for the day.
