Down 2-1 in the series, the Celtics will have to face Giannis Antetokounmpo without key center Robert Williams III.
Robert Williams Injury Update
Williams was ruled out for Game 4 with left knee soreness, the same knee he had meniscus trim surgery on at the end of March.
The 24-year-old impressed when he returned earlier that the projected 4-to-6 weeks timeline.
However, the Pro Basketball Docs opined in late April that it may take Williams awhile to get up to speed. He has averaged about 23 minutes in the series, down from 29 minutes per game in the regular season.
The hope is Williams can return for Game 5, but he will likely remain on a minutes restriction the rest of the series.
Injury Impact on Celtics
Daniel Theis and Grant Williams will see increased minutes in Williams' absence.
Boston's offensive game plan likely won't change much. Williams has averaged 8.7 points in the first three games.
The main question facing the Celtics, and most teams in the league these days, is how to stop Antetokounmpo.
Williams has averaged 2.7 blocks per game in the series. Antetokounmpo is coming off a 42-point performance in Game 3.

The Celtics are 1.5-point underdogs in Game 4 and the over/under is 213.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Boston is +146 to win the series and +700 to win the NBA Finals.
