As we’ve repeatedly noticed this year, the Panthers are taking the utmost caution with Christian McCaffrey concerning injuries. He was in line to come back from a shoulder issue after their Week 14 BYE, but after he strained his quad they may shut him down. The coach speak all year has been “we’ll see this week” but with their playoff hopes gone, there is a good chance they will sit him for the year and give Mike Davis the experience in this offense.
