Tight end Gerald Everett was ruled questionable to return after he suffered a groin injury in the second quarter on Sunday night that will put his availability for Week 11 vs the Chiefs.
Rookie defensive end Otito Ogbonnia – who was helping fill the pass-rush gap left by multiple injuries – suffered a left knee injury and had to be carted off the field after he suffered a potential ACL tear, according to the Pro Football Docs.
Not far behind Ogbonnia was 29-year-old nose tackle Christian Covington, who walked directly into the locker room favoring his upper left arm.
Linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr. briefly left when he was flagged for a concussion check after laying a head-first hit in the second quarter but he was quickly cleared to return.
The Chargers came into the game vs the 49ers missing a substantial number of starters, specifically their top two wideouts, two starting offensive tackles, and multiple defensive linemen.
