Second-year Kenneth Murray Jr. was placed on IR Monday with a left ankle injury he suffered in practice on Saturday. Murray reportedly went for an interception in practice, then went down holding his left ankle and was carted off the field. The 2020 first-round draft pick will miss the team's next three games and be eligible to return after the team's bye in Week 7. Through three games, Murray had a 19 combined tackles. Rookie Nick Niemann will start in his place.
