Chase Edmonds, the Cardinals starting running back, suffered a right shoulder injury at the start of the fourth quarter, but returned to play a few plays later. By video, Edmonds landed hard on his right shoulder when he was tackled by Packers defenders Kenny Clark and De'Vondre Campbell. We believe Edmonds suffered a right shoulder AC joint sprain. Edmonds returned three plays later with a 9-yard rush and has remained in the game. This is an issue that could get worse with time as swelling sets in. The Cardinals play the 49ers Week 9 and Edmonds will benefit from the extra rest.
