Chicago Bears Down Key Cogs On O-Line

The Chicago Bears are down three starters on the line, with two reserve linemen out as well. This unit was already hampered by the loss of James Daniels at left guard, then Cody Whitehair's calf injury and subsequent COVID-19 diagnosis left them with a hole at center. Now Bobbie Massie will be out for at least four weeks with a knee injury. This leaves them scrambling to fill these gaps and with swing tackle Jason Spriggs (Back/COVID-19) and center Sam Mustipher (knee) also out, they have limited pieces to work with. As of now, they have just 6 healthy linemen on the active roster, and while a practice squad call-up is likely, this is bad news as they head to Tennessee to face the 5-2 Titans.
